Back 40 Boers is located along Highway 20 in northeast Nebraska.

We started raising goats in the spring of 2003. We brought home 24 Boer-cross does, with twelve of them having kids at their side. We also picked up 10 young does from another ranch and a buck, fresh out of Texas! So here we were with 34 does, 23 kids and a buck as our starter herd.

We liked our first group so much that on May 11th we picked up another buck from Texas and 17 more does. Our herd was growing nicely. We picked up a few more goats here and there throughout that summer and by fall our herd had grown to 230 does, plus.
